Each advertisement can be recorded ‘live’ and direct by the sponsor, even changed on a daily or hourly basis to emphasize specials or market conditions.
The ads can be ‘studio quality’, professionally prepared and sent to us in digital form, or any arrangement suitable to to the advertiser.
Audio ads are typically 15- 20 seconds, with a brief ad and ‘call to action’. (Interactive ads, discussed in a separate section, can vary in length as explained there.)
Advertisers pay only for what they agree to sponsor, and only what callers hear. If a sponor wants his ad to play for every thrd caller, that’s what happens. If they want to maximize exposure, as most do, the ad plays for each caller unless demand for ad space exceeds the capacity, and then ads will be ‘rotated’ on an agreed upon basis and charged accordingly.
